“Lornabarret” is the new cd by steel pan combo The Pantastic 4, a group which fronts steel pans and marimba as the melodic voices, accompanied by guitar, bass, and drums. The 12 original compositions by Scott Johnson are written in Latin and Caribbean styles and have simple but catchy melodies. All but one of the tunes has a section for the members to improvise.
